About Neon Drifters - A Cyberpunk MU*
Neon Drifters is a persistent cyberpunk text RPG set in Neo Orleans, a city of flooded streets, elevated rail, chrome clinics, backroom deals, old ghosts, and hungry megacorps.
You are not a chosen hero. You are a body in the city: wounded, indebted, watched, remembered, and replaceable. Every job, injury, favor, faction tie, cyberware implant, property, business, and bad decision can leave a mark. Survival is not just combat power; it is who you know, what you can repair, what you can treat, what secrets you can find, and what consequences you can afford.
Build your character as an enforcer, NET jockey, cyberdoc, techie, medic, street samurai, marksman, brawler, or your own custom specialist. Skills matter because the world needs specialists: doctors to save the dying, techs to maintain gear, hackers to breach systems, fixers to move goods, fighters to protect crews, and criminals to take risks others cannot.
The game focuses on systemic, emergent play. The physical world persists. Bodies have anatomy. Wounds matter. Cyberware is real equipment installed into real flesh. Death has weight. The NET is separate from meatspace, but what happens in one can destroy you in the other.
